One principle, a wider lens.
NEREUS is the fourth program in the Beverly Index portfolio. It begins from the same conviction that underlies NOUS: that a complex system encodes and reveals its state through signatures in what it produces. NOUS reads those signatures in human language and voice. NEREUS asks whether the same reading can be applied to ocean and ecological systems, which leave their own measurable signatures in the data they generate.
Where the clinical platforms read a person, NEREUS reads a system. The goal is to infer state, stress, and change in natural systems from their signals over time, drawing on the analytical lineage of Neural Oscillation Signature Theory rather than on any single sensor or instrument.

NEREUS is an early-stage research direction. It is presented here for completeness of the portfolio and does not yet describe a released product. NEREUS is distinct from REMIEL Engine (the Level 3 reader component inside NOUS) and from Remiel Technologies (the licensed builder entity).
